cynttex1
My grey loves nutriberries. How many nutriberries should I feed him? Can he eat them daily?
Luvparrots
There are several different kinds of nutriberries and I use them to lure my birds back to their cage at night time. Sometimes they just toss them out sometimes they eat them right up. A couple a day is all I give them, one fruit, one veggie each.
cynttex1
Thanks for your reply regarding the nutriberries. How old are your birds? You have 3 birds? Do they talk to each other? Are they all in the same cage?
birdhouse
LOL I am like scared to think what would happen if I left the container unguarded. Phenix would would OD on them if he could. But I only buy them once in a while & he only gets a couple at most a day.
Luvparrots
My TAG is 2 1/2 years old; my Zon is 3 years old and my ekkie is at least 10 years old. I will be adding a CAG to my brood at the end of February or early March. She will be 4 months old when she arrives. They each have their own cages as I believe they each desire and need their own space and quiet time. Their cages are all in one bird room and they are all flighted and out all day long, most of the time. They tolerate each other, my grey is the boldest and littlest. My Zon is always challenging her and because my grey is quicker and maneuvers much better than he, she always wins so to say. Neither is out to hurt the other only gain the desired perch. My ekkie is a quiet guy who only wants to be left alone. I am retired so can devote lots of time to my fids; they are my flighted family.
judygram
Josey gets one Nutriberry a day but she really goes for yogurt dipped treats from Kaytee, I put one in her bowl every morning and that is the first thing she goes for. I would say your bird could have several a day and have them daily.
cynttex1
Thanks for the information regarding your birds. I am so glad that I have Buster, he is such a good addition to the family and always enjoys being around us. I can tell that you love your birds too. Thanks for sharing. cynttex1
You know I tried those Kaytee treats, Buster wouldn't touch them. Guess he is a picky parrot. Ha!
Ray P
My grey and zon get 2 nutriberries each every day as a treat. I put them in their cage so I never have trouble with them going back because they know what is waiting there for them
Morana
Khm... I don't know what nutriberries are.. I found something as a shoping result but it is in a bag so I still don't know.. That is a solid mixture of some sort, right? So you all use them as treats? Are they used for something else?
