Toys/Tricks

I have seen on the internet some parrot trick toys. There is all sorts out their but the jigsaws and colour bead matching caught my eye. (roller skates - REALLY :confused: )

Does anyone use these to keep their greys entertained?

I have not got a grey yet but was just thinking it maybe is something you could play together.

Kali has these coloured rings to play with, but she's not that keen. She's currently loving the Xmas nuts-in-shells which she spends hours turning into crumbs all over my floors

Anything to chew or throw is a favorite of Ana Grey. I buy the plastic golf practice balls for my fids, they are inexpensive, light and my birds love to toss or chew on them.

My guys don't don't really play many games with me. They like to play fetch. They throw, I fetch. Occasionally tug of war, but they take a temper tantrum if I don't let them win pretty quickly.

 

Phenix & Kura do enjoy playing hockey with me. They always have some kind of ball in the cage. Right now they're "giant" cat balls with a normal cat ball, inside. They bash them around the floor & bounce them off the sides of the cage. Sometimes, they like to have me bash them around with them.

 

It really surprised me when Phenix started doing this. I would have thought it would scare the bejeepers out of him. But he thinks it great fun & Kura picked it up from watching us.
