Lucy's not ready yet !!!

 

Just had the news today Lucy isn't ween yet and still taking a large meal by hand. So it could be another two weeks. No a problem, a little disappointed I was sort of hopping she would be home this weekend. Never mind a think another visit this week and more photos. She must be about 20 weeks now. I'm told she's still a big softy. That sound great to me. Hehe.

I know how disappointed you must be as I had to wait for Ana Grey because her breeder would not release her until she was fully weaned. To me a sign of a great and loving breeder!! Lucy is certainly worth waiting for as she is beautiful!!!!

Thanks for that. Yes I am very happy with Lisa lucy's breeder. She really knows her stuff and I'm happy to wait till Lisa is happy for Lucy to come home.

Lucy is a beauty. Those green wings are impressive birds! I'd be anxious to get her home, too.

I had the same with Cleo. The breeder refused to let her go until he was satisfied she was fully weaned and able to forage for her pellets. In my initial impatience I was annoyed, because I wanted my baby home NOW, but in hindsight the breeder was right. I know nothing about raising babies, and I would have ended doing up more harm than good.
