Does anybody know a training method as effective as the rival method that ONE person could use and succeed?

I'm not sure that I understand what you mean by the rival method. I personally have found the tips given by Barbara Heidenreich to be the most effective. (And no, I am not her! LOL!) If you do a search for her on You Tube you can find a lot of good stuff.

the rival training method is where 2 people stand in front of the bird one plays trainer the other student the trainer says something like what color and the student answers while the bird watches and listens than they switch roles and keep going apparently this is the best and fastest but also hardest to do training method

What are you trying to teach your bird.

The methods you described sounds like what was used by Dr. Pepperberg in teaching Alex to understand and communicate.

yes I am trying to basicly do what dr. pepperberg did but only I have no assistant so is there another way to accomplish the same goal?
