It's on cable right now. Hubby is gone for the night so I have control of the TV. He loves our birds but he's not quite as nutsy as I am. The talking is exaggerated but the love of their person is not.

Ahhh good thank you. I recall a Disney movie from many many years ago, when the northern wind blows or something. There was such a sad scene in it where a dog died, and it had such an impact on me I still remember it some 30 years later.

I haven't seen that movie in many many years but it is a good one, will have to look for it as now I want to see it again, yes it was exaggerated somewhat but then what movie isn't glorifed for drama.

A film I was brought up with about a boy and a bird was a film called Kes (Kestrel). It's a film that was made in my region, but was known throughout the country ~ it's worth a look - but you mightn't understand the geordie dialect (that goes for any people in the UK too)!!!

That movie was a favorite of mine too. I have happy memories of spending time with my nephew and watching it with him while he and his little conure needed some major TLC.

That's great! Although you may need subtitles because it's from my area - and it's in the geordie accent! People from the UK tend not to understand us!!!
