danmcq
Michael Dalton has been researching his B&G Macaws speech abilities for 19 years. He also goes on the road and speaks at conferences. I belong to a yahoo group he started and have followed him for a while. A Local News Station in Florida covered him and this is not only a great wrote up, but also video. http://www.myfoxtampabay.com/dpp/news/local/parrot-talks-interactive-092810

judygram
I have no doubt they are capable of a lot more than what we give them credit for, thanks for sharing that with us Dan.
Greywings
Confirms my observations for sure-Pookie often calls me with this phrase she already said mommie when she arrived but put these words together herself. "Mommie, come here" I realized she meant that when she says it as she got more and more insistent if she waits too long.
