Aloe and Jasper

Jingles

Recommended Posts

I sprayed Jasper down with Aloe and then let him be in the shower with me. (He got soaked both times)

Now, he smells like Aloe and his feathers...it's like they've got aloe stuck to them, like he's not preening them.

He has been eating well and talking like normal...

Whenever I do this to my cockatoo, when she dries she is very soft and I don't see the aloe stuck to her.

So, my question is why does it look like he's got aloe stuck to him and what should I do about it and did I do something wrong? okay... 3 questions...

really...I didn't know aloe needed to be in the fridge!!!

Ok...got that, no aloe and bath the same day....

thanks!

Ok...so, you think just give him another good get soaked bath and that will help with the aloe that won't come off of his feathers? His feathers are dark...like when i sprayed him down, they got dark from the aloe and being wet...they are dry now, but still dark if that makes sense and have the feel and smell of aloe still being on them...

Go ahead bathe again, When you give a Grey a good bath, it washes off the "White" dander, which has accumulated....Hence, the baby is darker...Jayd
