Shades Of Grey
I mentioned that I was going to shop for a full spectrum bulb today. I managed to find one in the reptile section but I am not sure if its alright. The only full spectrum bulb petsmart had was by reptiglow. The sales person said I could take it back if it wasn't right. Here are the specs of the bulb: color rendering index of 98 (cri) 6700K color temperature Is this bulb an adequate full spectrum light or is the color temp too high? Jayd
The light you need has UVB and UVA,+ fULL Spectrum..... Repti Glo 2.0 Compact Full Spectrum Terrarium Lamp is the wrong bulb, no uvb/uva... Repti Glo 5.0 Compact Tropical Terrarium Lamp isn't a full-spectrum bulb. http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3571148 Color temp above 5500 is great....Sorry...Jayd Edited August 20, 2010 by Jayd
