Tweedle Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 I've been thinking of getting some bird training DVD's, and am dithering between Barbara Heidenreich and Ellen Cook - any recommendations? Anyone else you'd recommend/avoid?
Streetwise Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Sounds great tweadle but I don't think I'll get Rambo to sit and watch them.
Tweedle Posted August 6, 2010 Author Posted August 6, 2010 (edited) If only it were that easy! I'm a book addict, got loads on training animals in general but very inexperienced when it comes to birds. Pippa likes chewing books. If only 'ingesting' them imparted the knowledge Just found this: http://www.greyforums.net/forums/showthread.php?172837-Impressed-by-Good-Bird-Inc Edited August 6, 2010 by Tweedle
animalINSPIRED Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 I think both would be great. Averi and I are taking bird behavior 101 classes with Dr. Ellen Cook starting next week (She's Averi's vet), and are doing an all day clinic with Barbara Heindenreich.
GoDiego Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 I've also been thinking about order Barbara Heidenreich DVD's. If you decide to order these ones before I do, then let me know how they were and vice versa
animalINSPIRED Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 Wow! Guess you live in the right place! Ha, yes I guess we do! We love Dr. Cook, she's been so good with Averi. And we just lucked out that Barbara is visiting Indy in October. I still hope to get their videos as well, just to back up everything we learn!
