Steam facial?

This is just weird.

 

Moussa likes to go over to the dishwasher when it's on the dry cycle and put his face down in the steam coming out of the vent. He'll bite at the steam, like he's trying to catch it. Then he'll just hold his face in it, like he's giving himself a steam facial.

That is just so cute! Not sure if it's good or bad but I bet it's a sight to see

That is pretty funny but that steam can be very hot so don't know whether it is a good idea to let him continue to do that for I would hate for him to get burned but just like children, they can do the darnedest things!

I've felt the "steam" with my hand, and at the point he's doing this, it's just barely warm.

I think they like this to clear out their sinuses (sp?) We have a very small guest bathroom that I shower in every morning (even tho it sucks) just because the greys love it when it gets all steamy and humid. Willow will actually refuse to step up for about 15 minutes after the shower because she likes to just sit on the shower rod and soak up the water.

Beau and Dixie both love to sit on the shower rod while I shower to "steam" themselves. The humidity it creates is great for them and they are more receptive to their shower (much cooler water obviously) after I'm done. In the winter when the house is drier than I would like they get "steamed" daily!
