GreyNpeaches
Hi all, I just got my baby Timneh a couple days ago. We found out he's a boy, so we named him Chico. We also got a cage and a playstand tree for him from the breeder's store. Anyway, I noticed when we were setting up the cage that there are some paint missing on one or two of the bars. I'm pretty sure it's not damaged from transportation. Is this something that will become a problem like rusting? The cage is A&E playtop 32" x 23". Same as the one here: http://www.bird-supplies.net/grey-palace-playtop.htm Anyone with similar problem? I will call the breeder but he won't be back until a few days. thanks, Eileen
rawleyd
I'm not sure about the cage, but that 3rd picture is cute.
judygram
In my opinion yes it will cause a problem for that area will rust where the paint is off and I would contact the breeder if that is where you got the cage and show him the damage, it should be replaced, you paid for a new cage and new without any blemishes is what you should have, go ahead and use it for the time being if you need to. That is a nice looking cage and your baby is adorable.
Luvparrots
By all means if the paint is chipped and you purchased a new cage, I would let the seller of the cage know of the problem. Chico certainly is a cutie. By the way, I love that playstand!!
birdhouse
I'd contact the seller, too. But I've heard that some manufacturers will give you chip paint rather than replace the cage or part. Definite cute points for pic #3. Congrats on your new baby!!
