Tigerlily Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 you know you have a sad life when you post clips of your parrot pooping;) when i come home she knows that she has to poo in her cage before i let her out, which is great, but on the other hand instead of being greated by a "hello" or a "i love you" i get greeted by a poo:rolleyes:
chelseaB Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 It is amazing how fast they learn to associate the word "poop" with the act. It always cracks me up how after they poop they look to see it! Not sad at all, just a little bird brained. I love it!
judygram Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 It always cracks me up how after they poop they look to see it! It does with me too like they want to see what it looks like after dropping it, "yeah that looks ok to me"
rawleyd Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 hehe.. So I went to the bird fair last week and met a woman who has had 2 Greys for 22 and 15 years each. She was telling me about her Macaw that is trained to poop on command over the trash can when she says "poop, poop". She then told me about her older Grey's sense of humor.... whenever company would come over and hold the Macaw, guess who would start yelling "poop, poop"?... lol, the Grey of course.. I thought that was quite hilarious.
Yossi Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 My 'zon will go with the "potty" command. Yes, he's used it on other birds in the past for the same reason as that grey. Then he'd yell, "silly bird!". LOL Gotta love the kids.
