How many hours should a grey get to sleep a night? Does their age matter? Winter is 14 years old and I've had him 1 1/2 weeks. I try to cover his cage around 9pm because I get up at 6:30 am. Thanks!

Thank you again for getting a older Baby! It's wonderful you've done this!! Your sleep time is grey't, 10 to 12 hrs. 10-11hr's mating season, 12+ hr's all other times. If they're in the same room as you and activity's, they'll stay awake even if covered! Take your time, it takes awhile for a re-home to unpack, your going to learn things from your baby for the next few years, listen, observe, because he will not always make it obvious.
