GreyNpeaches Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Some pics of my two lovebirds. The green-pied is Buckee, a female. The violet one is male Rexy.
judygram Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 What cute little birds, I think they are so neat looking, they never have a feather out of place and I bet they are little sweethearts too, thanks for sharing them with us, boy are they in for a treat when that new grey baby comes home.

Thanks! They are awesome. I try my best to make them happy. I hope it's going to be a treat and not a threat for them. My female lovebird Buckee loves being center of attention, is fearless, bites and she can be a mean bully to her mate and to her human slaves. She thinks she's the leader of the flock. The male lovebird, Rexy, is very laid back, sweetest, most gentle bird i've ever had but he's a little chicken even though he's bigger one.
Birdnut Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Lovebirds are the cutest little birds. But do introduce them to the new grey carefully. Lovebirds, especially females, can be very aggressive and territorial.
