Hi everyone,

My name is Eileen. I've been reading through the forum for a few weeks to absorb as much information as I can and it's been very informative and entertaining. My husband and I are bringing home a baby Timneh grey in less than 2 weeks. He/she will be 14 weeks old. We haven't decided on a name yet but so far Chico if it's a boy and Frida if it's a girl. He/she is going to be our first big parrot so we're very excited and worried at the same time. We've been visiting him every couple of weeks.

 

Right now we have two wonderful peachfaced lovebirds that's been living with us for 2 years. They are both hand tame and loves to hang out with us. We're hoping that they will get along with the newcomer.

Hello Eileen and welcome to our family, we are so glad to have you and excited about you becoming a first time grey owner.

Do not be surprised if your new grey baby does not pay much attention to the lovebirds and whether they will get along is just something you will have to see, some greys will and some won't.

Continue to learn as much as you can before bringing that new baby home, they are much different than the lovebirds but what an experience it will be, be sure to ask questions if you have any and we will help you in any way we can.

Your baby is adorable but then I have never seen one that wasn't, thanks so much for including the pics in your intro post.
