Is it Feather Plucking?

I just got back from outside, and found Aoodi sleeping, but my sister told me about a feather Aoodi plucked it from her body and started to chew it.

I wouldn't worry about it. My birds have done the same thing. If it becomes a habit and you see it happening a lot, then you may have other issues. But my guess is your fine.

Don't panic over one chewed off feather, it looks like it may be dead anyways, there is no blood in the shaft, and she was just helping it along to shed it, keep an eye out for more but they are going to lose a few from time to time.
