hbalkhi Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 Some of you know the story of Aoodi. When I was with the avian, he told that I must don't say to Aoodi he... I must say SHE!!... Yeah... she's female not male as the one I bought Aoodi from told me. So I'll be needing you helping in renaming her, can't find a name . Thank you..
Joolesgreyuk Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 LOL well you weren't expecting that were you?? Is Aoodi a male name?
judygram Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 Why rename HER, she knows her name is Aoodi, can't that continue to be her name, what does that name mean? Congrats on having a she and not a he but she is still the same to you.
hbalkhi Posted June 20, 2010 Author Posted June 20, 2010 I know ... But I believe Aoodi is a male name... It's kind hard to say to Aoodi to a female.. And ofcourse she's still the same. So what do you suggest rename her or just keep her name as it is?
Joolesgreyuk Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 Well Judy rhymes with Aoodi, you could name her after our very own Judy ;-)
Luvparrots Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 Well congratulations on your little lady!!!!! I like the name Aoodi.
judygram Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 I like the name of Aoodi, you obviously picked it because you liked it too, why change it.
Mawnee Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 lol thats why we chose a unisex name. I dont have the heart to have blood taken to find out for sure. Cosmo's personality certainly gives me a boy vibe though I agree with the others, keep the name! Your bird is used to it!
judygram Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 lol thats why we chose a unisex name. I dont have the heart to have blood taken to find out for sure. Cosmo's personality certainly gives me a boy vibe though Unless SHE ever lays an egg and then you will know for sure, I had Josey sexed but the name could be used for both, remember the movie with Clint Eastwood, "The Outlaw Josey Wales"
Mawnee Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 yep, been there. I had a cockatiel named Leo for many years. SHE eventually started laying eggs......so we just said Leo was short for Leona
dw310 Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 Yeah, I think you should name her "Aoodia" (feminine form of Aoodi). and call her Aoodi for short..... ;-)
hbalkhi Posted June 20, 2010 Author Posted June 20, 2010 Yeah, I think you should name her "Aoodia" (feminine form of Aoodi). and call her Aoodi for short..... ;-) Nice idea to be honest... Then Aoodi is still Aoodi..
ranaz Posted June 21, 2010 Posted June 21, 2010 Oh what a nice surprise.... I like the name Aoodi too...What does it mean anyway? In which language?
hbalkhi Posted June 21, 2010 Author Posted June 21, 2010 Well.... If you remember Toy Story, the cartoon show. That cowboy called " Woody ", and I like Woody. So I just changed to from Woody to Aoodi.
