Rhyme Time

Maybe there's a Scottish word that rhymes with pumpkin

But here in Texas, we're stuck with bumpkin.

(Bear in mind laugh, behalf and scarf are pronounced with a British accent, not American, otherwise it won't rhyme!)

and after 30 years life was still very nice

but now after a rocky roll of the dice

I believe it would truly suffice

have some a life with some spice

It made him feel bad

had a big nose like a lump of cheese

she was always hugging and giving a squeeze

but the dust from my grey constantly made her sneeze

I can't think of a poem with bread,

For there are no rhyming words in my head,

I don't want to obsess,

So I have to confess,

I'm off to watch telly instead!

when the sun is shiny I get so hot

my mind's a blur and I see black spots

so when night falls I'm all a twitter

because my skin no longer sparkles like wet diamond glitter

She has the prettiest eyes,

and so graceful she flies,

When with her I am never sad ('cept when she bites me, which isn't very often but one sneaks in now and again lol!)

It was so tempting my dogs had to chew

I tried to fix it but nothing worked, not even glue.

I am soo sorry for how horrible that was LMAO I have never been a poet!!

but come on guys give me a break

all that malarkey sounds so very fake

and certainly isn't going to make me quake!

But forcing its stalk

Through the barren walk

It demonstrates nature's beauty and power.

Oh to have an easy and restful life

to put up my feet and bide my wife

to get my dinner and slippers.. don't gripe

just stop the whining and causing strife

Mainly having to do with money,

For which I have noney.
