Guest
She listened intently among the chaos. Years of memories come flooding back. The German plane's engine from 1940 Growled back into my English mum's mind in a 1977 Midwest cornfield. Organ.
Birdnut
The early winter wind in the baring branches of the oak Rips leaves loose and spins them across the silver sky Its sighs, now shrill, now low, invoke The gods of death and loss and leaving by Like mournful chords on an ancient organ Or the keening cries of the fearsome Morrigan. Morana
All the world's a stage full of calm, love, but also rage. We all have a part to play; if today it's going bad, there's always a new day. opportunity
JeffNOK
I loved a young lass, but she left I was down and distraught and bereft Then I saw her on the street With a man named Pete Who had a large chin with a cleft. New Word: Ship OOPS--I rhymed the wrong word (LEFT) because I followed post #7 at the bottom of page one rather than the last post here. I like my little poem though so I decided not to delete it. Forgive me for not following game etiquette. I promise I will adhere to the rules next time. Edited August 9, 2011 by JeffNOK
JeffNOK
OK--here's the rhyme I should have made. Rhyming with "opportunity" I often take opportunity To find joy in my life with impunity. Its good for my health And adds to my wealth And seldom disrupts the community.
