dw310 Posted June 8, 2010 Share Posted June 8, 2010 I'm no expert, but I think they need the ventilation that wire cages give. Your birds would be breathing in a lot more of their own dander, etc with this cage. Also, they would benefit from the exercise they get from climbing around the wire cage, especially if you have to be gone all day/go out of town. judygram Posted June 8, 2010 Share Posted June 8, 2010 I'm with dw310 on this one, a bird and especially a grey needs a wire cage that they can climb on and most cages have the bars going both horizontally and vertically so it excercises their feet, with a glass sided cage that is not possible, it may look nice but it is not practical for everyday bird use, thats my opinion.
