judygram Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Oh, and my countdown ends in 27 hours and 3 minutes!!! (can you stand it?) The bigger question is can YOU, wow it won't be long now! I have never heard of red palm oil being added to the babies formula but then I have no experience with handfeeding either, that is a question that maybe Jay can answer.
Jayd Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 I personally wouldn't do it.[i don't do it] A baby formula is packed with every thing a baby to weaned bird needs. Mid way through the feeding process we introduce solid foods to teach the young ones to join the real world. A Grey can thrive and live a long and healthy life, with out eating palm nuts...So, if you choose not to feed you bird palm nuts, that's not a problem. Palm nuts are not a guarantee of a proper and nutritional diet! Thanks Jayd
