Brittany Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Plus new pictures of my handsome bird lol:p. Anyways Pepper was sitting on the mirror by the window ( which he LOVES to do by the way!!! ) hes such a riot on there, but he flipped himself upside down and I cant explain how he was flipped but it was NOT good I didn't think. So while he was upside down I let him grab my finger and I swear I thought he was going to bite the ever living crap out of me. LOL. But he didnt! I remained calm and was like come on sweety, and was doing my best to help him. Phew, it was an intense few seconds. Normally when Pepper gets upside down he'll bite because a.) he thinks you're playing, b.) he wants to be a little poop head, or c.) he doesn't feel secure. So I got really lucky, yay me lol;) (he was reguirtating to me while I took pics of him) aww giving paul love
Elvenking Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Pepper is gorgeous! Issac gets nippy when he is hanging upside down as well. I guess they feel a bit vulernable in that position. Funny how they like to do it from time to time though.
JillyBeanz Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 What fab pictures of Pepper Brittany! I posted something similar about Harvey last week - it's so scary when they do this! Almost like an alien invasion! Brilliant photos though - thanks for sharing these xx
esknomoe Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Brutus likes to climb down the side of my computer chair and hang upside down wanting to be "saved". He will get a little nippy about where I put my hand to save him, but he's never bitten. He'll just grab my finger or thumb lightly with his open beak.
JillyBeanz Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Ha Ha! We think we are "saving" them - they think we are "interrupting" them!! The mind of a grey!
judygram Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 He is a handsome fella and I have had Josey flip herself or lose her balance and not bite me, maybe grab a hold just enough to keep from falling, thanks for sharing the pictures.
