donste2287
Can anyone help. I have 2 african greys. one has bonded to my husband but my othere one is only 12 weeks old but shes obsessed with my hubbies bird. I have tried everything to bond with her,. moving the cages, not in the same room. but as soon as my hubbies birds tweet thats it shes hooked again. Will my baby ever bond to me. my hubbies bird does not like the baby either and always goes for it. I am so upset as i really want my baby to bond to me. I do well with her when my hubbies not there as his bird does not tweet so much when hes not there. I feel i am working harder than having 2 children keeping them apart. Any advice would be really greatful. Is it just a matter of time
Tari
Keep them apart is a good start. Maybe keep the radio on or TV on for a while. You should be the only one to handfed and/or give your bird the treats. She is young give it time just be persentant. Spend lots of time with your baby. However there is not proof positive way to make sure you bird bonds to you and not your husband. Some birds well even change who they like the most later in life. Your husband bird may someday decide your his fave. Hope to see pictures soon. and
