Sometimes I hate craigslist

I found all my babies on Craigslist but this ad just makes me angry. The birds were there first and so the cat should go lol

I have two parakeets with a cage, supplies, etc., that need a new home. One is blue, and one is green. They've been great pets -- very low maintenance and no drama -- great for a small child who is too young to take care of a cat or a dog. I got them for my daughter when she was two, but we recently got a cat and the birds could use a new home at this point.

 

I bought them and the cage at a pet store a little more than a year ago. They will come with cage, extra bedding, cage toys, extra food, food and water dishes -- everything you need. I think everything cost me about $120. Parakeets are supposed to live with at least one other bird, so they have to go as a pair.

I am asking for a "re-homing" fee of $45 for the birds and cage and everything.

Here the cage is worth more than the bird to these people. Wat are they thinking a Cocatoo is not something you just give to someone who buys a cage they need so much care.

I agree Samantha, I never go on Craigslist but it doens't surprise me what people will offer for sale, some people shouldn't have pets just like some people shouldn't have children, its sad.

Yeah the second one is pretty lame... But that's Craigslist. Honestly Im glad to see these types of poor birds posted on there... Hopefully they will then get a chance at a better home!

All of my babies are Craigslist babies. I just dont understand why people want to cash in on birds and reptiles its sad because love and a safe home are so much more important then money.
