JillyBeanz
Over the past few weeks Harvey has been making a sound that we recognised, but couldn't thoroughly place - until yesterday! The football was on (that's REAL football with a round ball America!!) and all of a sudden he burst into life! It was the referee's whistle when a foul was made, or a free kick given! It'll be impossible to deter this noise - the football is ALWAYS on in our house! There's not even the annual break this year - it's the World Cup! I was looking around the internet for similar references when I found this - needless to say, I shan't be taking Harvey with us to a game!! http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article2158271.ece

judygram
I just saw that when I was looking for a parrot story to post in Jill's new thread, almost chose that one too, that is too funny, thanks for sharing that with us Jill.
pearllyn
Lol - I've heard a similar story to this before. I've also read about police answering a 999 call only to find the parrot is the only one home, and having gotten out of his cage, started playing with the phone!! Good story Jill - thanks for sharing.
