Elvenking
Sometimes, I will see Issac do this thing with his beak where he appears to be stretching it. He will open his beak really wide and kind of work it around, close...then repeat sometimes for a couple of minutes. What is that he is doing...just stretching his beak? Dave007
He's yawning. He does that when he's bored and tired of you bothering him. He's simply telling you Enough is enough!!!! Leave me alone!!! I can't put up with you anymore!!! When are you gonna learn that you are a fool????? Are you blind??? Please, go and bother someone else!!!! Elvenking
I would think it was a yawn, but when he does it 10-15 times back to back...I wonder. Almost like his beak is aching and he is stretching it. Dave...say wha? LOL. Is everything okay?
Dave007
I'm fine. Everything's ok. And you? Haven't seen you at the pub lately. Don't be a stranger. Oh, by the way, they will do it for quite a while sometimes. Even more than 15 minutes

Xtreme575
Hahahaha! Dave, I love the interpretation! Stephen, quit being a bore! I get the yawns from Paco as well, usually before a nap or bedtime though, never when I'm entertaining him!!!
esknomoe
The first time I saw Brutus do it, I thought it was hillarious. He yawns and stretches like a human. He'll even make that sound, like people do when they yawn.
Malikah
Kito almost always does it after a bath. The first time I thought she had gotten water in her ears.

JungleDreamz
Actually, If it is NOT a yawn, My book says that they will do this if the have a feather like stuck in thier little hole of an ear, Kinda like a displaced ear feather. It says it can be ethier that or just a plain old Yawn
Elvenking
LOL...that is cute...a feather in their ear. That would totally make sense too, because it looks like an effort to clear something up more so than an involuntary yawn.
Greywings
That calls for the Talon in the ear procedure.
Elvenking
Yes...he will do that in combination as well....or scratch the nose! Really dig a talon in there. LOL
pearllyn
Really dig a talon in there. LOL Lol - it really makes my eyes water when I see then doing that!!! Come to think of it, my first post may have been hasty cos I have seen Alf do this what you are explaining and two minutes later a seed or something will shoot out at 100mph. I just thought, if it looks like a duck and sounds like a duck, then it's a duck, but obviously it aint necessarily so!

I do love it when they kind of sneeze and you can feel the little burst of air shoot out the nose. It's cute...I tell him 'bless you' when he does it.
