mrjayd
Has anyone ever seen these on a CAG? I went to the breeder to pick out my new baby and she had one that had one white nail and one foot and one white and one clear on the other foot. Is this anything to worry about or just a rare thing? --JD
JJsHoney
Last year when I went to visit my baby CAG he had white on atleast 2 out of his nails.. as he grew older the white was fading and becoming black.. I never really thought about it to much so I never asked.
Dave007
Honey is right. It's not anything to worry about. Sometimes, color will come into that claw and sometimes, it won't but it's no big deal but they're is a solution--make an appointment and go to a salon that specializes in manicures and or pedicures. Have them put on a special color that will distinguish your bird from others. make it a color that's elegant.
JJsHoney
LOL that would be a great moment walking into the nail salon with the bird asking for a mani/pedi!!
Xtreme575
Paco has different coloured toes and talons as well. He hatched with them, I like it, sort of a character trait. His longest toes both have pink skin, one has a clear/white nail, while the other nail is black. I figure it will make him distinguishable in a flock if we ever need him to be.
