chelseaB Posted April 29, 2010 Share Posted April 29, 2010 Biscotti is having his first big molt. He will be 11 mo. on Sat. He has been losing the fluffy downy feathers for a couple months & is now beginning to lose bigger feathers. So far 2 big flight feathers & several red tail feathers. His chest looks very scruffy, is this normal looking for the first big molt? He seems to feel & act perfectly normal... wilder than a March Hare!! Very vocal, playing & eating all normal. His back looks fine, I have added a couple pics of his front & back. Please just let me know if this looks normal, I'm a worried bird mom. Thank you!!
