dw310
How about we post our birds' favorite toys? Might be helpful for all (us) newbies who are trying desperately hard to spoil our babies wildly!! Here's are my 8 month old's favorite toys: Stainless steel cage filled with blocks and (blank/no ink) newspaper. He loves to shred the paper! http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=10258 Birdie Bagels- again, he loves to shred paper! http://birdsjustwannahavefun.com/bagels.htm Indestructibell- he likes to wrestle with this http://www.mybirdstore.com/LUCKY_BIRD-LUCKY_BIRD_INDESTRUCTIBELL_LARGE.html Stainless steel tubular bell- he likes to make lots of noise! ;-) http://www.mybirdstore.com/WHAT_S_NEW_EXCITING-STAINLESS_STEEL_BELL_MEDIUM.html Goofy links- his favorite perch. For some reason, he loves acrylic. Maybe it's the bright colors? https://www.petsolutions.com/Default.aspx?ItemID=28760501 Edited April 22, 2010 by dw310

judygram
Josey has one of those tubular bells and the indestructibell but her favorite by far is the tubular one, it gets a good banging throughout the day.
Jayd
Baby's best toy, a sound proof room!!!! We have "INDESTRUCTIBELL and TUBULAR BELL" 9 of each of them, there grey't, Th Bells of St, Mary, all 9 at the same time!!! They only get them when some one we don,t like comes over,,,,LOL Ha-ha...The best toy!! straps of leather, 2 feet long with wood wheels and knots tied into them, then tied to the side of there cage. It teaches coordination and it's amazing to watch them untie a double knot...Jayd
Luvparrots
Ana Grey has both the tubular bell and the blue one. These are outside of her cage or she would get me up early in the AM. She seems to like wooden toys and simple things like knotted plastic straws and things to drop on the floor from her cage, like blocks and balls. reggieroo
I'm not too sure what Murphy's favorite toy is just yet (only had him 5 weeks). I bought him 10 new toys from ebay & he mainly plays with an old toy I had which is a hanging sign saying "caution attack bird" on the outside of his cage. I even put a key on the end of the chain to make it more interesting but he's only interested in the actual sign. I've seen him beating up a few toys on the odd occasion & attacking his bell, also some wooden ones are chewed but not much when I'm around. kittykittykitty
I think it is her circular swing but Precious can pound her bells also !!! The wooden toys are destoyed in no time flat. So take your pick.
