Hey All!

Recommended Posts

Hey! My name is Mae! So I've had my baby, Obi, since he was 5 weeks old and I'm really glad to join a forum where I can ask questions and get help and share stories about my little monster! He's a bit of a butthead and I've been doing all I can to work with him but he's become a bit much to handle as he is my first grey. I love him to death and I want him to be happy so Im hoping these forums will be a huge asset!

Hi Mae and Obi - Welcome to our family. You can ask as many questions as you want - no questions are deemed "silly" or "stupid" - anyway - the ones that are I will have asked already lol! This place is full of great information to make both your life and Obi's life happy. Please read through the abundance of information - learn all you can to keep Obi safe. We'd love to see some photos too x

Hi Mae & Obi! Cute original name for your sweet little "butthead". :) My baby Biscotti is about 10 1/2 mo. now & he too can be a butthead at times! I'm pretty new myself & also learning lots, this is a great place to do that! Everyone is very helpful & willing to share experiences. Welcome!

Hello Mae and welcome to our family, so glad you found us and please stick around and learn lots.

I guess they all could be "buttheads" at times, some more so than others so you have good company here.

I am assuming this is your first bird too and it can be overwhelming at times but there are many knowledgeable members here who are willing to help you in any way they can, all you have to do is ask.

Why don't you tell us some more about butthead, opps I mean Obi and share some pictures too if you have any.

I have actually had other birds before, parakeets, cockatiels, lovebirds, finches and all...this is my first BIG type parrot/bird though so it's a bit different. I have really wanted one for years and years and when I finally found a baby that I connected with it was all tears until I got him and he's been my heart bird ever since, even when he is being a total butthead.
