Brittany Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 okay my boyfriend and i have a love for cucumbers and vinegar. is it OK to share this with Pepper?! My understanding is that is okay -- but can he not eat the seeds? etc Any help would be great.....thanks.
judygram Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 Yes it is ok for them to eat cucumbers though he may not much like the vinegar, you eat the ones in the vinegar and give him the unsoaked ones.
Luvparrots Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 I give my fids cucumbers all the time. I hope Pepper enjoys his cucumbers!!!
pearllyn Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 I often try Alfie with fresh cucumbers. So far she says no thank you.
JillyBeanz Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 Cucumbers have absolutely no nutritional value to either us or our fids. They are just full of water! Needless to say, in my quest for size 0 I have been eating 200 of them a day ;)
jessdecutie18 Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 Lol... I can't remember the last time I had a cucumber but now I feel like I want one Perhaps I will share with my husband and Yoshi
danmcq Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 YOu must be going potty a lot Jill from all the water percentage of those cucumbers. Why not, just not eat.
Jayd Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 All our fids love Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, All they're veggies ad bowels cages etc are rinsed and washed with it, it's a sanitizer...It contains "pectin" which is good for all. We put 2 drops to a cup of they're drinking water...http://www.apple-cider-vinegar-benefits.com/ Jayd

lovethatgrey Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 I'm sure the cucumbers are fine. Just omit the vinegar.
