jessdecutie18
Quick question that was brought up this morning... I made muffins and Yoshi was tasting the batter as I mixed it, seemed to think it was delicious... it was one of those 'just add water' mixes. Is a bit of that okay for them to have? I always give Yoshi half a banana nut muffin when I make these, but this is the first time I've let her chill on the bowl and taste the batter as I mix it. judygram
I guess if it was in small amounts it won't harm them but as in everything else moderation is the key, I would have been concerned if it was one you had to add egg to, that would have been a definite no no as raw eggs can have salmonella, they are a no no for us too. Joolesgreyuk
I'd be inclined to agree with Judy on this one, I think pancake mixes contain eggs - a definate nono.
Xtreme575
I'd look at the packaging as well. Often these batters, although quick and easy, are full of all sorts of chemicals. I find it really funny, I'm willing to put my own life at risk by ingesting the additives and preservatives, but my baby only eats the healthiest and most natural that I can get him to ingest. It is inspiring me to clean up my diet a bit, but only after I finish eating the Easter chocolate...
jessdecutie18
Alright, I won't let Yoshi taste the mix anymore then, as I don't want to take risks with her. Thanks guys

If I ate half as good as my bird, I would be incredibly healthy.
