judygram Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 That looks good enough to eat! I love how the light brings out the beautiful coloring of the feathers on Sachi's head, gorgeous. Thanks for sharing it with us.
lovethatgrey Posted April 5, 2010 Author Posted April 5, 2010 Thanks guys!!{Feel-good-00020114} I recommend everybirdy to purchase a nice inexpensive food processor. It's a great way to serve chopped up greens and carrots and it's always a tails up experience for both Emma and Sachi!!

Post edited by: lovethatgrey, at: 2010/04/04 20:40
judygram Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 So you let the processor do the work, funny how I thought you were so busy cutting and chopping yourself, I have one but rarely use it, I will now.
lovethatgrey Posted April 5, 2010 Author Posted April 5, 2010 Haha!! That's a funny one Judy! I used to chop all of this by hand but it took so long and made such a mess. I finally got smarter. I make about 3 days worth and then on the 3rd day I make some more. It has made my life a lot easier and it is so much more enjoyable to prepare raw vegetables this way!
Greywings Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 Good suggestion and a lovely Pionus you have there. I use one of those small black & decker choppers, quick and easy clean up too.
Elvenking Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Yes, I have a hand cranked food chopper that does this well. Its great for making birdie omlettes and birdie bread mix. I am going to have to try that veggie list. Thanks for sharing.
JillyBeanz Posted April 12, 2010 Posted April 12, 2010 I bought one of those "Magic Bullets" from "Selly Telly" a couple of years ago - I find it great to pulverise fresh spinach leaves, and find Harvey eats them far easier than the leaves etc. It's a great idea to pulp them. I agree with all about the beauty of Sachi - what absolute gorgeous colours.
