Veggie Rhapsody!

Todays veggie mixture was served after their noon showers.

 

Collards

Kale

Rapini

Cabbage

Carrot

Mango

Sweet kernel corn

Dried Chili peppers

chopped Pecans

Avian Organic Deluxe Parrot mix

 

It's kind of nice to have some peace and quiet while they eat!{Feel-good-0002006E}

So you let the processor do the work, funny how I thought you were so busy cutting and chopping yourself, I have one but rarely use it, I will now.

Haha!! That's a funny one Judy! I used to chop all of this by hand but it took so long and made such a mess. I finally got smarter.:laugh:

 

I make about 3 days worth and then on the 3rd day I make some more. It has made my life a lot easier and it is so much more enjoyable to prepare raw vegetables this way!

Good suggestion and a lovely Pionus you have there. I use one of those small black & decker choppers, quick and easy clean up too.

Yes, I have a hand cranked food chopper that does this well. Its great for making birdie omlettes and birdie bread mix. I am going to have to try that veggie list. Thanks for sharing.

I bought one of those "Magic Bullets" from "Selly Telly" a couple of years ago - I find it great to pulverise fresh spinach leaves, and find Harvey eats them far easier than the leaves etc. It's a great idea to pulp them. I agree with all about the beauty of Sachi - what absolute gorgeous colours.
