skmunson
I had the door open to the patio to take some things outside. Shortly after I let Benji out of his cage. Apparently a little brown ant had made his way in when the door was open and was crawling up the wall. Benji saw it immediately, swooped over and snatched it up and ate it. I assume this is ok. I mean in the wild I'm sure they eat bugs, right? It was amazing how quickly he went into action.
judygram
 That is too funny, I would imagine that little ant would not cause any harm to your Benji as you are right about them eating bugs in the wild, whatever they find, he saw an opportunity and took it.
Lambert58
LOL that's funny. Ours F R E A K out if they see a moth go by, though.
jessdecutie18
That sounds funny Yoshi sees Mike and I swat at flies here in Florida all the time and if one dares buzz around her cage she squawks and dashes across her cage wings raised, ready to bite it in half. Unfortunately the flies are a bit too fast and agile for Yoshi, especially since she can't fly
danmcq
LOL!! I think Dayo is anti-death to anything. The last time we swatted any flies in the summer last year. Dayo became upset and said "NooooOOOOoOOOooOoOo!". Maybe he thinks they are very itty bitty birds.

Greywings
Ummm Yummy ants and moths. My crew just watches them. They should be safe to eat unless it has been exposed to insecticide or something venomous like a Bee or Wasp.
Elvenking
Lol....that is too funny. Issac goes nuts with things flying or floating in the air. Even his own downy feathers. He flutters his wings and lets out a big "Raaaawwwkkk raaaawwkk". I don't think he has seen a bug yet though.
JillyBeanz
Harvey's favourite place is the windowsill in the study and last summer there was a moth fluttering around the window - it was TINY, but the beast within thought better - and ate it - wings and all! Nothing like a good bit of protein when no chicken is available
pearllyn
Lol - How brave these little predators are! If a bug flies past Alfie - she ducks!
