Ours flew out last month, and we got her back the next day. Make sure you print a bunch of fliers, call the radio stations, and put ads on Craigslist.

 

Ours was less than 2 mins from our apartment. Im sure yours isnt far. Dont give up. I firmly believe Pepper heard us calling for her for 10+ hours..

As you are obviously doing, post this on every site you can think of including craigslist for your area and 911 parrot alert.

I too hope you get your grey back but don't give up and use the suggestions that Brittany mentioned plus put an ad in the local paper, go door to door, visit vet offices, you just never know who might find him/her and the more people that know the better your chances of finding it.
