Pepper just flew into her cage

She caught herself a little bit but still hit it

 

[Yes...kicking myself in the butt for having her wings clipped]

 

So I just got bit twice, and almost got the eye...literally less than an inch.

 

Shes not plucking her chest. Should she be okay? im worried!! She really wont let me pet her or she tries to bite me. And shes never like that..

Some do pick favorites and Pepper obviously prefers your boyfriend so you may have to accept being second fiddle but you can still have a good relationship with her just not like the one she has with the bf.

It's funny because I give her more attention, I'm the one who gives her food, etc but she still wants him

Talula ripped her tail out yesterday when my bf was playing with Phoenix. She steps up but is avoiding me. Guess she pucked him not me.

Nothing wrong with being alarmed at first and worried Brit. We all get that way at times. :-)

 

I know how the second Banana position feels as well. But, even in that role, it is still a joy to have them in our lives! :-)

You have your baby back Brittany and things will calm down shortly. The wing feathers will grow out so don't fret just enjoy that she is back home.

Plus, I have anxiety..which makes things ten times worse, Lol.

 

My feelings don't get too hurt that she chose my boyfriend. I still treat her like a princess. and she isn't mean to me because she likes him more.

 

We are taking her to my moms house with us this Sunday.....for dinner. She loves my moms cooking but they have their new grey there!

 

It'll be Peppers first time around another bird outside of the pet store we got her from..yikes!

When you vist on Sunday just take things slow and easy, they can see one another from across the room and call to each other, it should go well if you don't force anything, who knows they might just get along.
