Elvenking
It appears a lady actually tried to pawn her to children off onto someone for what in return??? http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/35537878/ns/us_news-weird_news/?gt1=43001 1 Cockatoo and 175 bucks ..now I know that she probably isn't a bird lover in the normal sense...but that is crazy! Veenyx
I feel bad for those poor kids. I hope they are able to finally find a home where they are wanted.
crossfit
Well, the article says they weren't her kids. The parents had pawned the kids off to her about a year previously. That doesn't excuse it but makes it slightly more palatable, at least to me. I hope the kids are now going to find a good home. And my bet is that she intended to sell the parrot as she first asked for money and took the parrot instead. So lets hope the parrot also gets a good home. Xtreme575
I read this as well... Apparently the kids were treated really well by the people who gave up the cockatoo for them. Maybe it's too bad they can't stay there, with the cockatoo back as well. They sound like desparate, but good people.
Elvenking
I just find it most unbelieveable when it comes to the capabilities of the human race. Birds are better.
