rbpittman Posted February 1, 2010 Share Posted February 1, 2010 I have uv lights over each of my birds cages (out of reach of course). Yes it helps them tremendously with their dietary needs. The lights are on about 4 hours a day, minimum and usually 12 hours. In the summer we sit outside in the sunshine for at least 20 minutes, usually much longer.
