Aly~
What should I do? I took her play box out, which is where she started nesting on her toys. Then I came home the other night and realized she was nippy at me when I cleaned her cage because there were 2 eggs in it. I cleaned it all out and gave her a few loose foot toys to play with. Now I come home today and there is an other egg, broken on the bottem of her cage. I didn't think she'd lay them without a nesty type place to put them. ??????? judygram
Yes she will and it is best to leave the eggs in the nesting area for a normal incubation period or until she tires of sitting on them. When you remove the eggs she tries to replace them with new ones and making eggs depletes her body of calcium and nutrients. Just let her have her eggs to sit on and when the thrill is gone throw them away and be done with it.
