Ian
Hi Everybody, I have just purchased a `clicker` and have initiated brief training periods of conditional sound and reward association. The chosen reward for behavioral conditioning is a single peanut half. I have been conducting this for a period of four days. My goal is to induce a vocal response (speech) from my parrot in reaction to hearing a spoken command from myself. Has anybody else had any degree of success with the use of a `clicker` to elicit a conditioned behavioral response ? Thanks for all the posts everybody they have made extremely informative reading. judygram
I have not tried the clicker but a lot of people swear by it, so by all means let us know how you make out with it, depending on how well the response is I might give it a try.

judygram
I like to praise the smart ones, but of course you make me look dumb, but that is ok, I like a good laugh. If you can't laugh at it then what is the point.
Pryde
I don't have my grey yet, but I do plan on using the clicker with her. I have used the clicker with my dogs with great success.
