I'm a pear

Chimay's vocabulary has been slowly but surely increasing...his first words/phrase were "can you whistle?" That seemed to be the only thing he really wanted to say for a while...but recently he's added "baby boy" and "wanna step up" and "are you a chicken?" to the list. Just yesterday, he started to try "I'm a parrot!" but it comes out sounding like "I'm a pear"

 

So unfortunately what we have here is a full blown identity crisis. He used to think he was a chicken (still clucks like one from time to time), he had begun barking like our neighbor's Maltese puppy, and now he thinks he's a piece of fruit.

Ha Ha! Chimay needs a psychologist!!! He's a really good little talker isn't he - Harvey is showing no interest at all!!! You'll have to try and catch that on video!! :laugh:

Please warn before posting such things - almost spewed soda through my nose on the laugh from that one..forget about peeing my pants. Poor Chimay - I can only guess at the dollars that will be spent in analysis and getting him back to being an African Grey!
