I agree with Dan, joining this forum is probably one of the best starting places. I think I read most of the forum before moving forward. I also really enjoyed "Parrots for Dummies". I can't remember the name of the author and the book is under Paco' cage, he is still asleep, but it gives great overall parrot information with quite a bit of grey specific info as well. I loved it for when I first brought Paco home, it really helped me get acquainted properly!

Hi Mike , welcome! I am new to greys also, I have had my baby about 4 1/2 mo. now. The book Dan recommended, For the Love of Greys is absolutley wonderful! You must read that. Also a subscription to Bird Talk & Good Bird, Inc. will give you lots of useful info.

Also reading the forum here is invaluable, everyone is so willing to help with any question. They are a wonderful group!

Good luck aquiring your new grey, it is a wonderful thing! Karma to you for planning ahead.
