OMG I made my first Foot toy!!

and Sachi and LOVES it!!

She played with it for a whole 15 minutes!!

 

In all the time that I've had my parrots I never had the inclination to even try to make my own foot toys. Somehow I figured that it wouldn't be interesting enough to hold their attention .. so why waste my time when I can pay other people to do that job.

I got my impulsive inspiration from the simple little plastic toy men found on Jan's Toy parts site. They don't look very fancy but Sachi and Emma LOVE them.

Now I am super psyched and will strive to be a GREAT foottoy maker.

I recommend purchasing toy parts on this site because Jan is very mindful of finding the lowest shipping costs for you.

Those are some great looking toys Adina and I too have to admit I pay for someone else to make the toys I give my fids but I might just have to give it a try, thanks for sharing the pics and the link to the site with us.
