Codys Mom
for the last 3 days she will not touch a veggie, I made brown rice, sweet potatoes, squash, and some mixed vegtables tonight and she looked at it then took off back to her cage and started eating her pellets , I hope this is just a stage she is going through and it doesn't last very long , she used to love veggies especially cooked veggies about the only raw veggie she will eat is carrots and some sweet potatoe , she didn't even touch her pomagranites or her blueberries , any ideas on what is going on here? JillyBeanz
Harvey went through this stage too - and the advice I was given was to change where it is and how it is presented - it worked! I started putting his veggies on his fruit spear - carrot, broccoli, potato, baby sweetcorn etc - and he started eating it again. I still offer him some on the spear - but started putting it back in his bowl. I was the same as you - just wanted him to eat them!
Codys Mom
ok ty thats a great idea will try it, some days she will eat pretty good then some days she will eat 2 bites then run to her cage and eat her pellets, she seems to eat better for my hubby I don't know why
Greywings
If that doesn't work then try chopping it all up in very small pieces and mixing it together. They seem to accept it faster that way.
Luvparrots
I agree change it up. Some days my fids like their beggies some days they prefer something different. Just like people!
