baybeefi
Hi ive had a new african grey 6 years old he has been breathing heavily and regurgitating food we think we have fed it to much by leaving a bowl of food in the cage we took the food away and it was ok again. Should i set a time of when to give it food and when its finished take the bowl away or should we leave the bowl in the cage? Any help appreciated
judygram
It sounds to me like this grey may need to be seen by an avian vet but he should have food available at all times. Fresh food like veggies, fruits and such should not be left in the cage but a couple of hours and then removed for it spoils and goes sour but you can leave pellets and dry type foods in a bowl in the cage.
