Anyways, I got a new grill for christmas.. it is a Cuisinart Griddler Combo (http://www.cuisinart.com/products/grills/gr-55.html) I tried searching to see if it contains Teflon but couldn't find any info. My Mom said she called Cuisinart and they said it doesn't contain PTFE, but for all I know it could be some kid that just got hired there, stating that... Was wondering if anyone else would know if this grill would be OK

judygram Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 I looked at the website but couldn't find anything about whether it was teflon or not but I would have to assume if it says non-stick it is teflon, there are other newer products that are bird safe but they are more costly so I would assume it was unsafe, my opinion.
