caseyandmikey
I have ordered many toys anticipating Mikey's homecoming. Do you suggest I sterilize them before I let him play with them? If so what is the best way to do so? Thank you for your help.
Dave007
Just a good dusting and or some heavy rinsing in hot water with a tinge of dishwashing liquid is okay. Not to worry so much about dirt. Your bird will make sure that they get thoroughly soiled. In the future, the buildup of fecal matter should always be removed from toys and perches. caseyandmikey
Thank you very much for the response Dave. It is good to know I can use a little bit of dishwashing liquid. I'm sure the toys will stay clean for about a day as you said they are always sure to make a mess. What else could we have to do with our time other than cleaning their lovely messes?
