Guest briansmum
Brian has just done 2 orangey-brown poops in fairly quick sucession. he had a fair bit or carrot and potato baby food for dinner which is bright orange could it be that? if not what does it mean if their poop is brown?
Guest Lidia
The colour of what they eat does affect the colour of the poop (and its solidity or wateriness). His poop sounds like it is because of that. Brian sounds like he's having a happy time!
Guest briansmum
he is acting fine, he's currently having his usual evening play on the floor and is trying to balance on a wobbly loo roll tube. i'll keep an eye on him hopefully it will go back to normal, if not it's the vets in the morning. very worried
Guest Lidia
I really wouldn't worry about it, Beccy, it does sound like carrot and baby-food poo.
Tricky
I used cheese as a treat for Jacques's first clicker training session, and his poo was brown the next day. Lidia is probably right, probably just the food. It freaked me out too when I saw it, so I looked it up online and found someone talking about it in a forum, saying that cheese had turned their AG's poo brown, so I figured that must be it. It went back to normal quickly. =]
Ice
Don't worry yourself, it won't be anything else. As long as Brian still poo's its all good.
Guest briansmum
you're all right, it's completely back to normal this morning. phew. thanks everyone for you reassurance and keeping me calm. i read something about brown poo being a sign of lead poisoning, and i am one of those people who always jumps to the worst conclusion first. thankyou
judygram
Beccy, you are a worrywort, Josey's poops vary in color too depending on what she ate, the other day it was slightly red and that would freak you out but she had ate some fresh beets for dinner the night before and I at first was alarmed but then remembered the beets. LOL

judygram
Its hard Beccy not to get alarmed since these are our children for God's sake, but ya gotta love the concern we have for them.
