Cookie sheets

I donated all of my non-stick stuff and would really like to bake some cookies. I've looked in stores and can't find anything that isn't non-stick.

 

So far, I've purchased the disposable aluminum cookie sheets and used them a few times but that's not very green.

 

What should I buy and where do I find it?

There's hundreds of cookie pans sold all over and none are non stick. Just go to a place that sells all types of pots and pans, dishes and food accessories and other related items.

 

I have 4 different sizes starting at 7 inches by 9 inches up to 21 inches by 19 inches and we've had them for years.

I think ZivaDiva means that using throw-away (ie aluminum) cookware isn't very green, even if it's recyclable, it takes energy to reclaim the material after it's been used.

 

You should check out Corningware and Pampered Chef, both sell stone cookwares that are truly out of this world. Just scrape clean, no scrubbing or washing.

I suggest pampered chef as well. Their stuff is expensive, and you have to 'season' their bakeware, but after a few uses you'll never want to use anything else.

And, yes, I meant not very socially responsible by buying multiple aluminum sheets.
