Joyful music - Sing merry songs, Dance with yourself, Dance with your lover. Give thanks for Life As it begins, And as it ends Give thanks, yes, for Death. Give thanks for trees - Shade, fruit and flowers, For all plant life And for what it gives. Lakes, rivers, seas, Wind, rain and snow, Creatures above And creatures below, The rain forests And dry deserts, Thanks for bird song, For sun, moon and stars. Give thanks for Spring, Fall and Winter, Also Summer - All of the seasons. Give hope to the hopeless, Strenght to the weak. Give to the needy. Love one another. Please spare a thought for the allied troops in/being sent to Afghanistan and other war zones , not forgetting their families. They will not be celebrating Christmas in any big way. I really wish it could be "Peace on Earth and Goodwill to all". But presently it is not. So it is good to think of those that are helping to battle the evil that seeks to take joy and peace away. It is such a tragedy that so many young men and women have been and are being sacrificed, not just by dying. No, there is no peace on earth, but how I wish peace within for each one of you!
